Our evening out, not sure what was going on....

Mr.Right

This was my birthdday present from S, even though I have speciffically instructed him that I would welcome a killer whale (not a dolphin), hammerhead shark or a seal (not a walrus)as an addition to my family. It is one of those things that don't cost a lot but you just cannot buy it for yourself because it is deemed silly. Instead I got Mr.Right. Granted, I am in need of him more than in need of a hammerhead shark. He comes trained with sweet nothings and is totally in tune with his feminine side. My favourite quote by him is: "May I take you shoe shopping?" Also, it comes with few empty quotes. I have decided that he, after getting to know me a little, should also say: "Let me buy you another Orla Kiely bag." and "I know it will probably be too much but how about sex for the sixth time this evening?" That'll do for now.
I can see me getting frustrated by him at some point though....

B made these amazing cakes, I took photos, albeit on my phone, so will upload soon, they were amazing. If Napolen Dynamite was right and chicks like guys with skills, maybe it is like that the other way around too, and I better get baking and knitting...

Early birthday thing

I have had the most amazing night. Although my birthday is technically not until next Sunday, it was pushed forward because Karolina is going away for almost 3 weeks and then I am.
I really realised tonight that I have amazing friends that are unique, caring and really cool, special people that I am really grateful for.
I did hold a little, crap speech, but I really loved tonight, thanks for all my great presents, xxx

B made me this amazing jewlery set, necklace, bracelet, earrings and two rings, all made out of these amazing buttons and really funky thread. I can't imagine how much work has gone into this. Periodically, I will see her knit cute baby jumpers for other people, make cushions and cup cakes etc and I will think how wonderfully talented she is, but tonight, I was really suprised afresh. Great and really unique present. And Essex boys chatted me up on the tube home, so there is definately an X factor there.

At first I couldn't think of a way to use stretch butterflies...they go nicely on any wall.


And Oli's taking me water rafting. I think after Orla Kiely, it has become appropriate to go higher and higher with what he can do for me. I am still keen to see Kooks, which have sold out from under my nose yet again, and Oli knows what to do.
