My latest project - Operation frog!

This is my experiment at work, we are rearing tadpoles by the name of Wimmy, Limmy and Timmy (Edward's suggestions for the names). They were in a jam jar and progressed into a vase (as shown here)

The important thing about tadpoles is that after a while, they stop eating lettuce and start being carnivores. When this happens, they start slowly breathing air and need different environment. They need stones to sit on to get out of the water and therefore, we constructed a new habitat (triffle bowl) to accomodate their growing needs...



Here are Wimmy and Limmy, snoozing on a stone in the sunshine.

Southbank get together

This is our usual gang of Tyson, Ben, Matt, Nic and me doing what we do best, making fools of ourselves. After poetry quest, where Nic almost knocked a lady over in Royal Festival Hall trying to spin whilst asking a question with eyes closed...we discovered this and Nic went on it.
Weather left a lot to be desired as seen here.

Don't expect me to wear a dress...invite you to a wedding or set a date for that matter......

This fact has been a bit of an event for everyone around us, I even got champagne and I don't even drink :( Anyhow...there was no grand proposal, Ben just decided to buy me an expensive custom made ring and not to make any more fuss about it and I was declared engaged in the words of Papa Lazarou: " You're my wife now!" and that was that. Anyhow, there is no date and questions about setting the date are making us a bit ill...yes I know I will be 37 this year and should get a move on with procreation etc... but we will take our chances with nature and take our time. Adopting a kitten has also been discussed...also if anyone has a child they don't need....

This is a good opportunity to model my sad haircut by a hairdresser who is, allegedly, really good and does model shows. Me saying 'I would like to let my fringe grow' resulted in her cutting 2cm off them and cutting them in such a manner that it is impossible to do anything with them. Nick, I will never cheat on you again :(
